No. 2 is wrong. You are talking abouty 'L.A.' Tinsel-town. La-La Land. If it ain't broke, charge till it is! The stadium owner has Spanos over a barrel. Oh no, not the first year(assuming they probably have a multi-year deal(unless of course they went to a year to year which would be prohibitive)). Right about year 5 they re-negotiate at a higher price(more people bigger market more money) plus the fact you have some of the richest people in America one county over. Stadium owner is really in the drivers seat. They renegotiate, Spanos doesn't want to BOOM! Nowhere to play. Watcha gonna do? Go to Oakland? So if things go south what is Spanos gonna do? Go to Stockton?

Don't forget that being 10th, 11th, 12th etc still increased his value and the teams profits by at least 2X.

Being biggest show in town is only paid in pride.

Scott and BR state season ticket holders we're invited to a big event at Downtown Disney in Anaheim. Wait a minute. What about the "Fight for LA" campaign? You're fighting for fans in Los Angeles right? They know the money is in Orange County, jilted fans are in San Diego and they are ignoring fans in Los Angeles. That day of renegotiation can't come soon enough.

Since I started this thread, it's been recently announced on March 27th that the Chargers season tickets at their new stadium are sold out. Sure, it's a smaller stadium, but maybe due to the stadiums limited capacity, demand for season tickets grew stronger. Everyone is closer to the action. I think everything is going to plan for the Spanoses, despite how much that hurts the San Diego fans left behind. But why left behind? No one but themselves is making them stop rooting for the team. The team is still the Chargers. Only the city and stadium has changed. I'm a Chargers fan first. I hope they do well. I'm rooting for the team, not the owner. But if the owner benefits from their decision, good for them too. Life's too short to hold grudges against anyone.

Everything is going as planned until they have to try and sell PSL's at the new stadium. If they have not had a winning product then they will be in trouble. Especially, if the Raiders and Rams have been playing well and capturing the interest of the LA fan base.
