My only response to this would be - some of the stuff we say on these message boards after losses may be ridiculous, but it's nowhere near as bad as the product that the Chargers' organization has put on the field the last few years.

Nope, just saying that it CAN be done. Dismissing a coaches impact on a QB sounds foolish to me, but I agree, this game was on Rivers. I want a new GM, a new HC and perhaps even a new QB. Too bad there aren't any good qb prospects this year.

Didn't see the game but did see the pick 6 highlight - I've noticed that PR does not throw well when he's out of the pocket. You look at his % today and then you see that and ... it makes me think that it's him and not M. Vick shaving points this year.
![]() One other thing - that T.B. guy who returned it for the TD was a little too prancy going into the end-zone if you ask me. |

No, of course not. I will actually wait and analyze as it comes.
I definitely am not in the "anything is better" boat. It can, does, and often will...get worse.

Basically guys, this is Franchise Mode and we just want to hit the reset button.
Start over. Remember when the reset button made you go all the way back to the beginning. Denver is the litmus test now imo. Win, more torture. Loss, it's over and we move on. Just one man's opinion.

Three years ago, Rivers was elite. After last year, top ten...now, I don't know man. Can anyone logically explain to me what happened to him? Is it our offensive line...is it his confidence, what has happened?
Last time this dude was really good was when I was in Highschool. I used to be able to talk so much trash about how great my QB was, and knew the Chargers were going to mess some stuff up...13-3, horrible in the playoffs in a huge upset, and all down hill from there. Rivers has just been average. I know our pass blocking is horrible but...what IS IT? Pretty much, I'm in denial that Rivers may suck now. I'm hoping we're just a HC change away from him getting back on track. Last edited by Raylan Givens; 11-11-2012 at 02:06 PM.. |
