I think we are closer than we think though. I tell my friend all the time that he is spoiled being a Pitt fan. The hell of it is that he agrees with me. We have to remember, it's pretty easy to knock other defenses when you've had theirs.

Pitt has had a good core, then a few stand outs, in order to be great. I think we have that core. Melvin's a rookie. I think he can be that impact guy given development time. We have Weddle, who is another stand out.

We're so freakin' close we can taste it.

Would love to see them playing together for another 2 years and then see how dominant they can be
