With that performance, Rivers became the 49th QB since 1966 to have a completion percentage at 75 percent or above with 35 or more passes in a game his team lost.

Rivers was also the fifth such quarterback to reach these numbers this season. The others: Tony Romo, Christian Ponder, Matthew Stafford and Ryan Fitzpatrick. Five QB’s reaching these numbers in a season ties the league mark, which was set in 2007.

Rivers also became the fifth quarterback since 1966 to have multiple games with a passing completion mark above 75 percent with a minimum of 35 passing attempts in a loss. Brees and Brett Favre top the list with three. John Elway and Jeff Garcia join Rivers with two such games."

The best thing that ever happened to drew brees was leaving san diego. I suspect it would be a big plus for Philip as well. IMHO, the entire organization $ucks. Please, do us all a favor and let him go.
So for the San Diego Rivers fans (not Chargers fans) the problem is not at all Rivers but the organization?

Deepest QB draft class in years and my 30 year old QB comes off the worst performance of his career. Ya I'm probably going to be looking at maybe bringing in a young guy rather than my 8th DL and 19th DB drafted in the last 5 years.

Reminds me of the good-ol' days. When there were Chargers fans, and there were Rivers fans. Getting into it big time. For the latter, Rivers could do nothing wrong. Every interception, no matter how bizarre, was someone else's fault.

That was the genesis of my signature.

It was nice that that dynamic had died down for a while.

There's a difference from a deep class and a good clas...tell me a qb in this draft you would trust as your qb of the future as opposed to Rivers? Even if by some miracle we have the first pick, do you really think Geno is the next star qb of this league? And our only problem on defense IMO is CB, as cason hopefully will be gone and jammer isnt a starting cb anymore. He should be moved to safety or used in the nickel like the Vikings did with Winfield.

It'a all about the 4th quarter, where his passer rating is the worst in the league!

I was talking about this last year's class 2012 where we didn't take a QB.
