To me, there is only three that were bad throws/decisions by 17, both picks against Oak and 1 in Denver.

He got beat up against Denver, and is probably hurting after that beating, but he's playing at a top notch level. If the receivers made the routine plays this wouldn't be the topic of conversation and the team would likely be closer to .500
Throwing short quick passes, Rivers has done a good job leading the WR by placing the ball in front of their route. Against Denver's fast LBs River's timing was off. Just getting the ball out of his hands was half the battle. Our WRs need to be prepared and understand the ball will not arrive perfectly to them against the Donkeys. We failed the situational football test in that aspect. We really missed KA's ability to get open and to attack the ball.

Weeks 4-8: 10 TD, 7 INT, 15 times sacked, 4 fumbles

Yikes! Is he on the decline? Is he playing hurt?
Of the last four interceptions three were catchable passes tipped by the receiver and the 4th was Whalen cutting the wrong way. Another of his interceptions was a hail mary attempt on 4th and 22. Don't know about the other two.

The offense has too many weapons out to be effective against top defenses. The O line is average at best which adds to the problem. Alot of people say Rivers doesn't need to have top receivers since presumably he is so good that he can make the passing game work with average receivers. This theory doesn't hold up when the offense goes up against a good defense especially with the mediocre play of the O line

There's only a few defenses that are that good. Denver is one of them and we could have beaten them twice. -As it is we split

Last week Rivers appeared to be grimacing in pain after a sack. Those hits against Denver added up. It's tough to tell with Rivers since he is such a gamer and he has a history of keeping injuries close to the vest. Hope it's just soreness.

I didn't appreciate the "I'm gonna eat your children comments by Derek Wolfe. Rivers turned the other cheek on such a classless comment...I hope we get another shot at the Broncos.
