I like what I'm reading. It's a major breath of fresh air from Mike McCoy. He probably let players rest for jammed fingers and minor ankle sprains.

I'm a huge Parcell's fan. Don't forget, Lynn's life is toughness personified. He's a long time survivor of a major car accident so I don't think Lynn will want to hear the excuse from a veteran player like Brandon Flowers of why he came into camp twenty pounds overweight.

Wonder how he will manage players lack of availability who are of impact to the team e.g. Keenan Allen and Jason Verrett? Let's hope these guys will have luck on their side of playing a whole season. Their work ethic, attitude and talent are all first rate. Easier said than done...perhaps drafting a similar talent alongside them would solve this problem?

The hiring of Lott is intriguing. If his data had a leagues low in player injuries what preventative stuff was he doing and how did he implement workouts with these guys. Did he supervise them during off season? Seems like each player works out individually on their own during the off season. Wonder if Lott will have a hand in supervising players workouts during the off season.

First impressions on Lynn, he talks with ease in front of the camera. He is to the point and answers questions with substance unlike McCoy who was robotic (doing what's best for the team!) and initially came across as irritable during team press conferences. I don't think the players will tune him out nor will Lynn have his head down during the game when all eyes are on him. He also hired former head coaches at the O and D coordinator to address his inexperience as a head coach. Smart.

Whiz was already there, and he was who Lynn wanted.

Player and the medical staff decide, not the coach.

But the coach's attitude/approach to such things can surely be weighed by the players before deciding what they want to do.

To MAY to, to MAH to. Whiz became a Lynn hire when he retained him.

Spanos & TT gave Lynn control to select his staff. You can't ask a new HC to work with people he doesn't want under him.
