Default Is it possible?

To start a new thread without it merging with another one?

Pretty sure polls on whether Seyj should start over Vincent Brown are obsolete by now?

Ryan Mathews polls from the preseason?

Manti Teo articles from 2013

I agree OP... Don't see the reason to have 'master' threads on each topic, when new things happen week to week. It's okay to let threads die and new ones replace them. But, oh well.

Good grief man, it's Christmas. This is no time for this type of post!

It's a great day to be a Chargers fan!

I would like to see a guideline that says threads with tons of pages from the last season don't get bumped without really good reason... reasons more than a poster wanting to say I told you so.

Mathews discussion- one thread.

Te'o discussion - one thread.

Why do you need thirty threads about one subject?

I think the argument is when a topic or discussion dies about a player/coach/etc, then weeks later something new about the same person comes up, why is it not okay to have a new thread about it? Instead of having the thread be about the person involved, why not be about the subject or event that happened? The past 2 years of discussion isn't really relevant to a new issue. Carrying on months of old posts that make the thread difficult to navigate is pointless. But thats just my 0.02. I still like this forum though, it is just over-moderated.

Do theeads cost extra money or something?

Why should a thread about Mathews performance this week be in the same 500 page thread about RM's performance from 3 weeks ago?
