Woodhead is Weddle 2.0...getting old, expects to get paid more than the Bolts want to pay, injury prone, minus Weddle's contract drama...diminishing returns...time to go with the young bucks...

What has he said/done to suggest that he wants more that the Chargers want to pay him?

I suspect Danny is writing a letter to himself right now. Look for it in the Player's Tribune.

He might be able to figure things out on Twitter.

Yeah, I'm not sure where you're getting that hes expecting to get PAID paid either. My guess is he's smart enough to know that no team is going to spend a lot of money on an aging, injury-prone and diminutive back.

My guess is the two teams he'd like to play for are the Chargers (close to home, knows the system, comfortable with Rivers) or the Patriots (was previously successful there).

We have a few backs on the roster -- Gordon, Oliver, Farrow, Hillman, Williams -- but other than Gordon and Oliver, I'm not sure who's still under contract.

So in other words, my guess is he's expendable unless he signs a team-friendly, incentive-laden contract I'm just wondering if he fits into the vision and plan on offense.

Out of all of your dumb posts, this one ranks right up there.

First of all, any proof to the claim that he "expects to get paid more than the Bolts want to pay"? I'm sure there isn't, but just had to ask.

Weddle was never injury prone.

And Weddle's "diminishing returns" were due to him playing through a groin injury, because he happens to be a team player. And maybe you missed it while you were on here 'fixing' others posts, but Weddle was rated the top safety in the NFL this season by PFF and worth every dollar they gave him.

That crossed my mind after we hired Lynn, as well. I didn't watch much of the Bills, but when I did, I didn't notice them using 'specialty' backs. It could be because McCoy can do it all, or the just didn't have that type of guy on the roster. But it is definitely something to consider when wondering what they'll do with Woody.

Lynn was the RB coach for the Jets when they cut him and the Pats snatched him up.

Well, that doesn't bode well for Mr Woodhead.
