Default Transplants

Watching the Padres / Red Sox game in SD. The same transplants that filled the Q the last time we played the Pats are now at Petco. The joys of living in a transplant city...

What the guy above me said!

Also, on Monday I went to the game. It was a ton of Red Sox fans. I would imagine if the Padres were doing well, it would be a lot more Padres fans. I did make a point of talking to them and only one had a Boston accent lol.

You're lucky.

Oh god. You just reminded me of a terrible, terrible, terrible day in January 2007.

Thanks a lot.

Maybe because they don't want to get beaten or stabbed?

Then you haven't been paying attention.

"With the second home run, Bryant took over the National League home run lead with 35 and ignited chants of "MVP" . . . Bryant said of the fan support. "You grow up hearing that kind of stuff on TV and to experience it in real life is pretty cool and something I don’t even think about.". . . . Many Cubs players took note of their large fan support at Dodger Stadium.

"It’s a testmament to our fans," Bryant said. "We travel very well and it’s nice to see the Cubs fans in Cubs uniforms in the stands, and we notice it."

I think they should make it Federal law that you are never, ever, ever for any reason allowed to live anywhere but the city you were born in.
