High value, worth multiple picks from a 4th quarter choking turnover machine with a multi-year losing record?

Are we talking a Madden 2017 trade here? Your fantasy league, maybe?

And let's throw in the fun fact that Rivers has a no trade clause as part of his last contract, so any trade would have to be approved by him before it ever got started.

So which team in the league do you see a. trading multiple picks for Rivers, and b. Rivers agreeing to be traded to?

Bold prediction. This one might have wheels.

i must have missed all the rings while we had McNeil and Diehlman playing with the league's MVP LT and guys like VJ, Gates, Sproles, Merriman etc... in their prime.

PR simply isnt the 'winner' everyone pretended him to be all these years.

2. OL
3. Brad Kaaya (time to look forward to a new era at QB)
4. Joe Mixon RB (talented back who'll drop for off field altercation 2 years ago).

this team isnt built for a QB like pr. he has 50 lb lead weights in each foot. he couldnt escape a pass rush from a molasses drip in the middle of a cold winter evening. and let's not forget that crunch time is more like clam-up time for him. but alas he's going nowhere as no one would give up multiple hi-rd picks for him and he wouldnt approve it anyways as he probably still thinks he's hof worthy.
so in short...no trade.

Bold Prediction: Next QB for Chargers will be a mobile QB. He will have a promising career but spend most of it on IR.

Say what you will about PR, but at least he is out there playing unlike a lot of our other "star" players which is remarkable considering the beating he takes

So he gets sacked everytime there is a pass rush.

Just as he did prior to leaving Indianapolis & being hired as the new Chargers GM.

Philip Rivers isnt getting any younger & his poor play has been evident in recent years.

Dont get me wrong, Rivers is still a HOF QB...but his level of play is no longer suitable to this Chargers team. LT was right. Rivers need to play for a "WINNING FRANCHISE NOW".

Rivers' value will be high. I predict multiple picks.

The Chargers need a more mobile QB. Someone that can make up what their current O-line cant do...pass protect & keep a QB in the pocket clean. They need a scrambling QB that can get that much needed 3rd down play QB run.
OR we can do what good organizations do and actually build a good oline. Football 101. Protect the passer.
