Hell of a game. One of the best Rose Bowls I can remember.

Local kid from my neck of the woods. San Clemente H.S.

Not coming out of nowhere. He was a Elite 11 QB on his way to S.C.

Redshirt freshman this year. When USC was struggling with their senior QB at the helm this year, they made the decision to give Darnold a shot. And they've been on a roll ever since. This is definitely a kid to keep your eye on.

Freshman. Just like the FSU QB/. Those guys are going 1-2 in a few years.

Great Rose Bowl!!!

Penn State QB was determined to throw 22 on SC a pick at the end. Took him two tries but he got it done.

Good thing SC doesn't have Lambo or Kaeding as a kicker.

Didn't the Trojan kicker miss 2 FGs earlier in the game? You think this is a Meatloaf song or something?

Impressive. Thanks for the info. His fellow wide out, Juju Smith Schuster compares Sam's throwing strength to Aaron Rogers. Nice compliment. The kid looks pretty composed for a freshman; engineering a come from behind win in the Rose Bowl could be the stuff of a future legend. Someone to definitely watch.
