Do any of you remember the guy who was the original Bolt Man.
He had a home made costume with a piece a sheet for a cape. He walked around the stadium over and over to rev the crowd. He later added his son to the show. Later, the Chargers took the name and gave it to the balloon like puffed Bolt Man. I don't know what happened to the real Bolt Man.

Guerro619 Thanks for starting this thread. There were many great moments.

Bolt

Every moment of it. The unneccessary bar arguments. When you offended at least one of your family member just because you need to see the game. Too many in game moments to count. People you've met, and relationship that's formed and destoryed. Making new moments right now... if they are projected to gain financially as they should, they might actually spend some money and give this team a boost.

Shinning up the wagon, ready for some new passeneger and true fan ride shot gun, some got off in San Diego but it is a beautiful city.

My thing is: leave BUT make it better.

Yes. He used to wear a crazy wig with his outfit and was bursting with Chargers pride. As you said, he roamed the stadium sections, getting the fans into the spirit. Sadly, he seemed to vanish when corporate Bolt Man showed up. I hope the original Bolt Man is doing well these days, though on this particular day, he's probably feeling very sad.

I'm still having trouble believing the San Diego Chargers no longer exist. I wonder when it will "really" sink in. I know they're gone, but I guess I'm in mild shock.

Main one: the 2007-2008 play-off game against the Indianapolis Colts. That is still to this day was the best football game I've ever seen. The toll that game took on both teams was proof of that. Unfortunately they still had to play the AFCCG after that. But I loved how we practically destroyed the Colts no matter how good they got, every time.

Other great memories:
  • LT breaking the touchdown record on the Broncos.
  • The 6 INT game against the same Colts.
  • Antonio Gates for 3 TD's agains the Seattle Seahawks who at the time were the defending champs.
  • Beating Denver to knock them out of the play-offs and secure the Chargers' spot at the end of the 2008-2009 season.
