Cutting King saves $5.3m towards the cap as well.

2017 off-season: Evaluate Slauson's performance versus contract demands. Possibly move Lamp to LG and draft a new RT.

Happy to see King released and Asante Cleveland back. Hopefully it means more 2 TE sets and better run blocking/short passing game. Frees up money for a younger player and imo a right tackle can still come in the 2nd or 3rd round.

Releasing Dunlap saves some cap space as you noted, but it does nothing towards the need for OL help (it still exists), as Dunlap was no longer in the picture the minute Okung signed.

Get OL in rds 2-4......

I think cutting Dunlap means they will be drafting an OT. What's more, in this draft that is thin at the OT position, I think it puts Cam and/or Ryan back in the picture as the possible pick at #7.

I know most of you people don't like that - you want a "sexy' pick, but it sure would be nice to have a OT that will be on the team for years to come.

The new guy could get his ears wet for two years at ROT and then move over to replace Okung. Our QB would love that. By the way both Cam and Ryan are strong run blockers so that fits the reputation of the new HC.

is on the way!

How many playoff games did the Ravens play in last season? Oh, that's right, the same amount the Chargers did.

Sorry to hear about my boy King. Doesn't suprise me tho, that's how they treat the good players there.

Doesn't Weddle realize how that makes him sound? What a tool...
