I can understand that - his numbers are unimpressive. They didn't really throw to him that much in college. But, look how well he played in the NCAA Championship games (2 years). He came up big, in fact his biggest, when the chips were the biggest. I like players that do that. Combines that with his soft hands, good size and speed, he's a big prospect for the next level. In the NFL he won't be underutilized as he was at Bama. Put him on the same field as Henry and that's pretty scary to the competition.

Possibly, it seems like they throw out the once in a generation tag every year when it comes to TE's... Not everyone can be Gates, Gonzales, or Gronk.

I call the line guys the 'foundation'.....difficult to build much of a fancy house if you have no foundation. So yes, they are integral to success....but they get no star treatment. It is the way it is.....

That's where I love our second round slot. You just sit there and wait for the first round talent to fall to you. That's how we got Hunter Henry by the way.

He's going to be a big time weapon. Would do somersaults if he's a Charger (and that's no easy feat for a guy my age)

Might be dangerous too with a pony tail or man bun.

The best Offense is a good Defense.

I'm 81 years old so no somersaults from me. In truth I couldn't do them when I was 16.

I still hold out hope for Ramczyk. He'd be my pick if I was the GM. However, I don't expect TT to take him. I think he'll take a pass rusher or safety. If they don't take Ramczyk in the first, I hope they take Bolles in the second. He has sweet feet and he can be developed with good coaching and using the teams various workout equipment.

Once again though, I reserve the right to change my mind.

Mike Williams would not be a Buster Davis... You heard it here.

Some notes regards OJ Howard: At 'Bama he was a versatile blocker in a variety of run schemes, options. His excellent speed & hands were underutilized. His route running didn't get a lot of development, still excellent raw material.
The addition of Howard would make the LAC a unique offense.
OC Whisenhunt was an NFL TE.

Not saying we will or won't but I could understand drafting Howard.
