the guy is trade bait; as they all are.

the NFL is a business, trade him now and get something.

sure he is the nicest guy in the world, will admit that.

a great QB? can be debated. just look at the win loss record.

HOF guy? not looking good, Dan Marino made it but did get to a SBowl and had a much better record.

so I would say he is a Good QB and great trade bait right now, get a 1 and a 2 for him while you can this season.

next year you may get a 2 and 6 for him.

make the team better, it is not about individuals and if you like him that much then appreciate he could get to a SBowl there as he should get that honor.

He's stuck with Stingy Spanos. I'd love it if he could escape. This is The Spanos Chargers now, he put himself above history and the fans, he's simply a failed owner. Better owners build a stadium (Rams) or have an owner that improves their existing one after a long history somewhere (Dolphins). Rivers is off to play in a 'soccer' stadium rented from the local team.
