J. Brown has shown something in his limited time thus far, Joshua Perry was drafted ahead of him but has not been active or played on game days like J. Brown has.

I wish them both well after the Te'o injury .... we need them and others to step up and fill the voids due to injuries.

Against the Colts loved the strip by J. Brown and TD run by Caraun Reid! .... there's a nice video interview of C. Reid by N. Hardwick on the front page of Chargers.com that's worth watching

Go Chargers!

Perry is physically and play style a different kind of ILB, more of a milke, so it's hard to compare.
Still have hopes for Perry to be Perryman's direct backup.

Jatavis has the "it" factor on the field.

I like what I see, although the hammy that kept him out of the crucial 4th quarter last week has me worried for Sunday.

And he plays more than Bosa. So, there's that.
Dude is getting a lot of playing time because Attaochu is trash against the run.

I'd like to see Te'o and Brown together.
In this pass first league, Perryman is a weakness.

Te'o is a "strength" against the pass????

Perryman is definitely not strong against the pass, but at least he brings some whump against the run (which Te'o doesn't).

IMO Should the Chargers have a strong starting front 3 (cough ... cough ... cough ... calling Mr #3 pick in the draft ... cough ... cough ...), I believe that the pairing of Perryman and Brown could turn out to be dynamite. And so we wait.

I think the most telling stats are these:

"In 38 games play, Te’o had 9 passes defensed, 1 forced fumble, and 1.5 sacks. In 82 snaps, rookie Jatavis Brown has 4 passes defensed, 1 forced fumble, and a sack."

This is really mind-boggling. In just a couple of games, as a BACK-UP, Brown has now equalled Teo on forced fumbles, nearly equalled him on sacks, and has already defensed nearly half the passes Teo has defensed over three years! And Teo is supposedly our best cover LB. If we extrapolate Brown's numbers over three years, he'd be top of the league among LB's.
