There are single seats available, but my initial hope was to take my wife to some games and indoctrinate her into becoming a fan of the team (she's not a sports girl, but she's coming around slowly). We're newlyweds so we're still recuperating from post-wedding expenses. lol

I'm debating whether or not to just get a single seat and, hey, make new friends. Or just pony up the dough for two seats.

You can keep looking for a partner. There will probably be some left after the "windows" close.

Plus there will probably be some single-game tix available.

That and to have real seats, rather than benches.

Hi friend! Me too!

Get the single ticket then bring her to games with individual tickets. Even if you don't want to sit, there are places to watch the game while standing with a beer in hand. Not a lot of places but they are there.

In your situation I'd wait it out and pick up single game tix. There are always deals to be had on stubhub if you are not picky about the opponent. Rather than dishing out that much money, you can try to lure in your wife for cheaper rather than making that large investment.. If it works and she's into it, you'll only need to wait another year to pick up seats. Once the new stadium opens there will be plenty of opportunities to pick up seats..

Also, don't forget to factor in the cost of PSL's. If you are not going to be willing to make that investment once the new stadium opens then there's no need to scramble to establish your place on the priority list.

My window opens Friday...Not sure whats still open but I have a question about resale. Only reason being I live in NYC and would probably only make 3 maybe 4 games...Im a huge fan and would make sure I did not sell to opposing fans...However I saw the letter that said something about taking the seats away if you try to sell them. Maybe someone would even want to split season tickets with me. I am leaning toward just passing and not buying any but I still haven't decided. Depends what's left and what options I would have to sell the unused seats..

Kind of a strange situation huh? The Chargers are playing in Stub Hub Center, and Stub Hub's business is what?

Read a article the NFL Ticket Exchange will be ok to use if you sell them. NFL approved and Chargers and NFL end up getting a cut.

Of course, as a forty year season ticket holder the easiest way to list tickets is through the NFL Ticket Exchange. They take them right out of your account and send them to the buyer as an eticket. If you sell on Stub Hub the seller has to send the tickets to the buyer. And just to be clear, in either case, the seller does not know who the buyer is as far as his or her being a Chargers fan or not.

You can sell to friends or split the tickets. I believe that what is not permitted is to put them up for sale on a site like Stub Hub.
