That's exactly what I think as well.

If LT's working in a position where he is involved in personnel decisions, he'll have to give up his NFL Network job and much of his free time that he has been spending with his young family. I don't see that happening.

Is this our response to the Lakers bringing back Magic? Lol...

Unless LT is being given meaningful decision-making power in the organization, which I severely doubt, there's nothing to dislike about this move. Love LT

I agree... this is something a lot of teams are doing now. For the Chargers this is really important because it solidifies an important link to San Diego which has been pretty shredded through this process. I don't think it is a coincidence that LT happens to be the prominent Ex-Bolt who publicly backed the move to LA.

LT was and is a great guy. Very personable, very sincere. He took a position as a Charger and no doubt will be a prominent face for the team going forward. He wouldn't take a position he does believe in and will not embarrass his employers or the Chargers players.

Disagree with the above. Will never forget the following:

I attended a private practice with about 10 season ticket holders. As LT was coming in from practice two 9 / 10 year old kids went over to LT to say hi. LT did not acknowledge them; did not look at them; completely ignored them and keep walking. Completely changed my view of LT.

I always thought he was kind of a jerk too. I've witnessed the same type of thing multiple times from him.

But he is one of the Charger greats so I just came to the conclusion he is a great player for my favorite team but not the greatest person.

He stole that from Shooter.

He suggested that to the benefit of Rivers, because he felt Rivers should go to a contending team instead of toiling away his final years playing for a non-contender. He knows all too well how the Spanos' hold on to coaches far longer than they should (see Norv Turner, Mike McCoy).

While I don't think he'll have decision power on personnel moves, if he were ever to be part of the think tank there, he'd be in the collective say to elevate the team now.

I don't see how this is a bad move at all.

LT is a Charger again!

The power of forgiveness compels you.
