Here's my updated 1-5. Heavy emphasis on offense particularly O-Line

1. Taylor Lewan LT

2. Dion Jordan OLB

3. Joseph Fauria TE

4. Braxston Cave C

5. Ricky Wagner RT

Take a starting LG via FA

Jordan's not going to fall to us, unfortunately.

Clary is signed through 2014.
2013: $4 million
2014: $4.55 million

Not sure what the cap hit is if we cut him. I believe someone said we'd save around $1.5 mil if we cut him.

I find it amusing that you think Dion Jordan falls all the way to the middle of round 2, when there are mocks picking him in the top 10. I personally think he could go anywhere from 15-25 range, but there is no way he falls that far, his ability to not only rush the passer, but drop into coverage will catch the attention of quite a few teams.

Why no OT's? You think we can win with what we have now? I don't.
I never said no OT's, I said not a top 10 pick used on an OT.

Let me offer you this curveball, how much more will a new HC/ new Off.Line coach get out of our line ?

Questions to ponder...

Jordan's a mid 1st guy right now. While I wish he would somehow fall to us it is unrealistic.

Norv and AJ parting gift. Win in Oakland and get us that prized #15 pick.

I NEVER want to lose to the Raiders! I'd be thrilled with Warmack at 15 (and we'd have a decent chance at Lewan or Fisher). Or trade to the bottom of the 1st for Aboushi and grab Larry Warford in the 2nd.

If we don't resign Vasques I'd like to see us put Clary at RG, since it doesn't look like we can get out of his contract. I would be happy with Lewan in the first. He will get playing time since Gaither won't stay healthy. RT can be an open comp between Harris, Haslam, and Lewan. Harris actually might be better at a LG, in which case he can push Troutman for the job. Also wouldn't mind seeing Dumbo getting a shot at LG, just so we don't have to bring back Hadnot.
