Interesting... he built some great Colts teams but I am guessing that many of their fans see them similarly to how the vocal AJ Haters here see our GM... a few good things that covered later mistakes for way to long.

It'd be a bad move.

He seems to be in favor of the Cover 2 crap and the Chiefs really just need a QB that doesn't suck and a coach that will actually hold them accountable for mistakes.

He may be one of the few GMs who truly are worse than AJ Smith.

IMO, you are clearly off base on this one. Take Polian's resume and compare it to AJ's. AJ can only dream of having as much success as Polian has had. Don't take my word for it. Just read.

His success goes back much further than that. He helped lead the Bills to three straight SB appearances. What has AJ ever done in a position of power that can come anywhere near to matching that? Not to mention Polian's success at Carolina and the Colts. Heck, he helped the Colts win a SB.

True, AJ has never built an AFC Championship team... Polian has built 3 + a Super Bowl Champion team...

With that said compareing his Colts resume to AJ's Chargers resume, I remember reading a lot after Manning went down... and a lot of people were saying that similar to AJ's Early Drafts, Manning was covering for a lot of mistakes that were made.

Heckert, unhindered by Holmgren (where do you think the Weeden pick came from), would be great... He's done amazing in Cleveland.

Reid is just like John Fox - needs a fresh start.
