And the Chargers are favorites to bring in Heckert and Reid if you listen to some

Interesting... he built some great Colts teams but I am guessing that many of their fans see them similarly to how the vocal AJ Haters here see our GM... a few good things that covered later mistakes for way to long.

It'd be a bad move.
He seems to be in favor of the Cover 2 crap and the Chiefs really just need a QB that doesn't suck and a coach that will actually hold them accountable for mistakes. |

He may be one of the few GMs who truly are worse than AJ Smith.

His success goes back much further than that. He helped lead the Bills to three straight SB appearances. What has AJ ever done in a position of power that can come anywhere near to matching that? Not to mention Polian's success at Carolina and the Colts. Heck, he helped the Colts win a SB.

He has a super bowl. What does AJ have?

With that said compareing his Colts resume to AJ's Chargers resume, I remember reading a lot after Manning went down... and a lot of people were saying that similar to AJ's Early Drafts, Manning was covering for a lot of mistakes that were made.

Reid is just like John Fox - needs a fresh start.
