I never said pay full for it. Atleast put down some of it.
The city is paying for it.
Keep defending him. California is broke and cant afford to make Spanos even more rich with a new stadium.

Does that mean San Diego has reimbursed Spanos the $15 million he's spent so far, just looking for a site to build on, and the legal fees involved?

Or have you just jumped to the conclusion that the city is going to pay for everything, without having a clue what an eventual stadium deal will look like if it happens?

Thats why i dont like him as our owner. Makes me sick hearing he is a good owner. Why do you think we always boo him when he talks at games
You really don't know about the stadium issue. Where are you getting your information from???

My opinion, not a rumor. I'm happy to own it and you're welcome to spread it if it makes you happy.

What did she do right in Oakland?
She was not responsible for the football side of things. That was all Al Davis. She did legal, finance, marketing, and stadium issues. The stadium deal she negotiated to bring the team back was horrible for the city of Oakland, not the Raiders. Shame on the Oakland politicians.

In terms of accomplishments, the team has had far fewer blackouts than we've had. Pretty amazing considering how horrible the team has been over the past decade. We could use her marketing skills, obviously.

On the new stadium front, they are much farther long than we are. Maybe she could move things along down here.

Wrong. It isn't even close.

Quote from a 2011 article:

"The sellout situation is nothing new. They have 78 blackouts since they have returned from their Los Angeles sojourn in 1995. Upon their return to Oakland, the Raiders were confident that they would resume their sellout streak with no issues."

I stand corrected. You are right. They have had many more than us and I should have checked my facts. My point was that Amy Trask did a great job selling tickets for a perennial loser in a two team market. Especially in recent years.

In 2011, Jim Harbaugh was energizing the Bay Area fans by taking the 49ers to the playoffs, while the Raiders were into their ninth non-winning season. Yet the Raiders sold out all eight games that year. That's remarkable. We had two blackouts that year, and four the year before that, in spite of having a playoff caliber team throughout most of this decade, and having the entire Southland all to ourselves.

The Chargers do a horrible job filling the stadium. If our record was as bad as Oakland, I'd cut them some slack. But it's not.
