man,

Alex smith being a chief made me laugh. Please see Cassell from NE to Chiefs and you will get a similar story at the end. Cassell was good because he played for Pats, Smith got good when SF got good, he was EL Stinko before that

Smith is a capable starter which is more than I can say for Cassel, but the Chiefs aren't suddenly contenders ala Denver with Manning. They did get better though, Smith is worth a few extra wins and so is Reid. They will probably be about as good as we were last year. If our front office does a good job this offseason we will stay the #2 team in the division.

So much for KC losing Dwayne Bowe to FA... They are a dangerous team now. IMHO...

Especially tagging Albert, in addition to re-signing Bowe. If they keep the #1 pick and take Joeckel or Fisher, their offense will actually have a very high ceiling (they already have a top-5 RB in Charles).

I would be more concerned than this Tripmeister. I said Andy Reid was a bad thing for us, and I'll say it again. Most wanted to tell me he was washed up, I don't trust that for a minute. Smith needed a QB coach to excel, he got it with Harbaugh.

If Reid is anything, and just one thing only, he's a QB guy. Donovan McNabb, Kolb, and Michael Vick will all attest to that much. I lean towards worrying that Reid and Smith are a combo that we don't need in our division. AND the cursed Chefs STILL have that number one pick. After watching the Eagles oline this year you can write Joeckel down on a piece of paper, circle it, and draw little stars around it too. Cuz I know Reid, Smith, Charles, Bowe, and Baldwin are. Yepper.

So a QB and a RB that have been mediocre for most of their careers would sell more tickets? Glad they're selling tickets because they wouldn't win games.

Everyone said the same thing this year, I know, different QB, coach, etc. but They had Bowe last year and 800 yards isn't something that makes me crap my pants in fear. For all the crap I say about the Chiefs, I love Charles, guy is amazing.

I'll let you in on a little secret primetime. People call me crazy, but I have believed for years that Bowe is the most overated WR in the NFL. He hasn't shown me crap. I love that they just signed him to a 5 year contract.
