The draft for me really depends on free agency. It also depends on whether or not we're able to unload Gaither on another team. If so, I would be all for drafting oline with our first two picks. Imagine having BOTH Joeckel AND Mathews. Then all we'd need is to pick up a guard.

I think the foundation has been set for our defense, now we just need complimentary players. As much as I would love to pick up Barr in the second, we saw yesterday what Rivers can do with a clean pocket even against the best of the passing defenses. Giving him that should be our priority.

Definitely does depend on FA. I doubt that another team trades for Gaither unless they get really desperate and/or we're willing to accept a later pick. Also hard for me to believe that we're still in the Luke Joeckel running after that win against Pit.

If that win yesterday and possibly 2 more move the Chargers out of position to draft in the top 10, that means picking BPA for need (considering the bluechip picks are taken). In that case, I'd have to go with Ansah, even if Fisher and Mathews were still on board. Assuming no moves for FA.

It's not 100%, and I know the arguments to go with OL in the middle of the first, but just going off the potential for both the level he may reach and what it'd do for the front 7 as a whole 2-3 years down the road.

I could still see us losing 2 of our last 3 games. If we win out, we should go best OT scrimmage in the first and bpa between ol and olb in the second.
