I'm sorry. I thought you said that the Deer Antler thing was based on rumors, while the Armstrong thing was not. I disagreed. Have you discovered that Armstrong did indeed fail a drug test way back when?

Don't let me stop you from patting yourself on the back, though. It's important every once in a while to treat yourself well. Stuart Smalley has a good affirmation you could try: "I deserve good things, I am entitled to my share of happiness. I refuse to beat myself up. I am an attractive person. I am fun to be with."

On Sunday morning Mike & Mike In The Morning did a special Super Bowl show on ESPN and declared it a non issue. Golic played in the NFL for about a decade and said that in the NFL rumors like this don't mean much, as compared to baseball or the olympics. And Greenberg who's a graduate of Northwestern which is one of the best Journalism schools in the country said the story had no legs. And you expect me to take your word over their's. Now that's funny!

You can try to keep it going if you want, as I'm sure you will. But it's a dead issue in the national media, and to me too. Take care man.

isnt lewis going to be working for ESPN? Id take Mike and Mike's opinions with a grain of salt.

Thanks, it's ironic but you just made my point. ESPN wouldn't offer a job to someone that would bring them bad press, that wouldn't make sense. For example, they didn't offer jobs to Barry Bonds or Lance Armstrong. TC

they already hired him despite being involved in some way in a double murder. Kevin Blackistone already has said ESPN should rescind the hiring based on the deer antler spray allegations.

Mike and Mike arent exactly known for going against the company line.

Okay, you didn't figure it out for yourself even after I tried explaining it once. This time I'll make it easy for you: I. Never. Said. That. The. Story. Would. Have. Legs. So congrats -- you bested me in an argument that we never had.

I'm out.

Blackistone said ESPN shouldn't hire Ray based on how he answered questions in his press conference, not based on the allegations. Reporters can be a little high and mighty when it comes to not getting answers (or the answers they want) to their questions.
