Let them run block and try to keep the D honest, I say. Certainly it would be madness not to try to use the ground game against Carolina's mediocre run D, right?
The run O was good enough that the D had to account for it, that's for sure. It seemed like either it was a 1 yard gain due to RM powering out of a negative play or an 8 yard gain because the line gave RM a hole. They didn't get a big one but they did enough to open things up for the passing game. That's what we need.

The oline is awful, but if you took any oline I the league and removed their two players, would you expect them to be much better? Clarys been a problem for a long time and should have been replaced awhile ago, but up till McNeil and dielmans injuries, the oline wasn't are major concern. I'm not trying to keep aj here or make excuses for hom, because i want him one as mich as anyone, but if aj hadn't drafted liuget Reyes and Ingram people would be complaining just as much about the defense.
That being said it needs work but it just bothers me when people act like our oline has been a problem since aj got here

The problem is, the OL we've been putting out there consistently shows we have no depth. Our OL is the same as that of the Eagles - our best guy (Gaither) went down on an average line and now we're bad. And we're talking about Cardinals level bad.
