Bad owners have bad teams. When Dean kept AJ after he refused to speak with the chargers head coach over the course of a 14 - 2 season that should have ended in the Super Bowl I knew the bolts were headed in the wrong direction. I'm not debating Dean's decision to let Marty go but he should have showed AJ the door too. It was apparent right the that The Lord of no rings ego would cloud his judgement. Enter Norv.

The realization that this team was on a constant slid downhill came the year we "back-doored" into the playoffs at 8-8 because denver folded.
This team was really only dominant the year after Norv took over, and that's because this team still had Marty's mentality. Each year the mentality has become more and more Norv's, until finally what we have is a team with allot of talent, but no real "foot-balls"...norvitous might be the correct diagnoses. Pag's is putting the toughness back in the defense, but the offense doesn't have it. I gave up my season tickets this year because Norv was given a two year extension...should have given them up three years before this. It's sad, A.J. is a good judge of talent, but he's clueless about what makes a good HC, and we've paid the price, from a team that could win any game against any team, to a team that hasn't been relevent for three years now.
