We can make this whole Norv thing really simple....

Ask yourself this question - Do you really think that in all of America, in the whole world of football, that this is the best football coach the San Diego Chargers can employ?

Here is another good question - Why does Spanos have to settle for mediocrity with a retread coach with a history of mediocrity when other NFL clubs hire bright young coaches like McCarthy, Tomlin, Payton, the Harbaughs ?

Only if you were looking for something to confirm a previously held belief, imo.

I wasn't looking for anything just stating my experience with the obvious.
Please explain this.

And still stand by my statement that grown men don't act like that with the boss/leader. I think it's disrespectful, To me it's why the chargers play like they do, Now that's looking for something.
What did the players/employees do in that video that was so disrespectful? Please give at least two examples and the time on the video.

This speech dispels that myth and demonstrates the gestalt of Norv.
Criminy. What did you expect after a workmanlike drubbing of an inferior foe? Champagne showers? I'm exagerating obviously but good grief.

Like old school points out the guy doesn't command or demand attention. It's kinda lazy and awkward. Not what you expect out of a head football coach.
Everyone was paying suitable attention considering the event and outcome and the message being delivered. I just don't know what people expect- rapt, worshipful, emotional attention? Did they expect Norv to get all emotional about a game they clearly were supposed to win and did? I think his speech and the players response was approriate for the game played and where they are in the season.

EDIT: Additionally, I think that if Norv did have an emotional speech for this game many here (and probably the same ones criticising him now) would be saying he overdid it after a game the Chargers should have won.

Who said that? He is who he is. Nothing to be done about it for now.

This probably isn't the thread for this, imo.
