I just don’t see how a Man 6ft 5in doesn’t have the '"length you want" ...
The other 4 mentioned were all on the Pro Bowl roster, are you saying these 6'5 guys have it but 6'5 Jones doesn’t??? Or are you of the opinion that a LT must have length of a, lets say 6'7, 6'9 or a 7 footer???
And an Avg. athlete on top of that?
if Coach Saban thought he was:
A) long enough to handle the edge @ LT
B) quick enough to pull etc. as a Guard
C) smart enough to make adjustments/calls as a Center
I'm of the opinion that this kid is a STELLAR athlete... now is he gonna be a Pro Bowl rookie? Am i going to wake up tomorrow and find a $1 bill on the ground? WHO KNOWS!!! these are all just guesstamations. Your entitled to your own beliefs as am I, I’m just trying to stir the pot a lil bit and create fodder for next season.

He is limited athletically. At 305 lbs., he certainly doesn't have the weight currently to play either OT or OG in the NFL. If his footwork wasn't so messed up and he was more athletic he could play OT at that weight, but barely. C is the only NFL position I see him achieving any modicum of success at, and even there he's going to have problems with the larger NTs he'll face...who aren't the pudding players he mostly faced in the SEC as much as people try to erroneously try to make that conference out to be another division in the NFL. Add in the two high school opponents Alabama...and all SEC teams schedule every year, and he did nothing to really impress me, and his film backs that up. Another recipient of mass hype from the Alabama hype machine. He's a solid prospect who could develop into a good, but IMO, not a great player as you seem to be stuck on.
