I've taken a few hours to stop financial research to look at the Chargers Guards.... I can say that i really like Troutman. I can't say that he's a starter for next year, but I do like his long-term potential.

In retrospect, i can also say that Gaither made Green look really good. Enough so that we all had delusions.

You're confidence in him is certainly higher than mine...and I've been a Penn State fan for years. If you want to run the ball, I do like him. As a pass protector, he needs lots and lots of work. I don't know just how much work he was able to get in last year, but IMO, he's a couple years of solid work away. Hope you're right, and I'm wrong.
