Norv has never coached DBs and I'm not sure what he said anyway. Sounds pretty dumb up front. His best starting CB who can play man or zone against the NFL's best receivers can't be trusted to play S? That's just weird. I have to believe Norv just wanted him to stay where he was.

I would like us to retain one of our 2012 starting DBs... I would be happy for Jammer to safety.

Jammer is one of my top 5 Chargers of all time, if not top 3. It would be heartbreaking to see him go, but like ATL said above, I wouldn't mind seeing Lynch being resigned to give it a shot. I really enjoyed watching him play last year. He reminds me a lot of Weddle with him being at the point of contact with the ball pretty much every play.

You brought an intensity to the field that very few have rivaled in the history of the NFL. I hope you still have that intensity wherever you may be. I hope I get to meet you again.

Cason wanted by the browns and the lions.

They can have him. While he has shown flashes of being good, he has also shown flashes of being horrible and has never been consistent.

Lot of these guys won't be back so it doesn't really matter. SP and Jammer based on there age won't break the bank. As for Cason, he didn't really help himself his final year here so I think he'll be cheap to sign elsewhere.

I'll take Cason back at the vet minimum, but that's it. Because that's all he has shown so far. And he obviously is going to get a lot more -- so he's gone.
This reminds me of when Drayton Florence left for a lot of money, and we all knew he wasn't any good, yet an NFL team with professionals paid to evaluate talent didn't know it. |

Good point. I also agree with alot of people here that Cason and Jammer were both terrible. I honestly could go without either of those guys - in fact I would prefer it only if we knew we could upgrade. I'm looking forward to seeing more of Shareece Wright, that kid seemed like all he did was make plays. Sure he gave some big ones up but he was a young player. Looking forward to his future. I love Jammer and what he has done for us - but let's be honest he is very old now. Any young guy would be an upgrade just for the speed factor. Cason is a real headscratcher but I honestly think he is just terrible, he has been sooooo inconsistent I think it's time we just label him a bad player. |

Everyone on here has a black or white method and i think that Cason is firmly a shade of grey. (English too!). Jammer, on the other hand is an enigma. I like his potential as a nickel guy more than a SS. <- Because he can play the nickel LIKE a SS.

The question isn't about either of them being good or bad, it's about what do the Bolts replace them with? If TT gets a better player, everyone will be cool about the change, if the replacement is not so good, there will be CMB uproar.....
