A lot of pass rushers initially use a bull rush or speed rush to set up the tackle. They get them used to one move and then surprise them with another. But it's tough for Ingram to set up a tackle and then surprise him with another move when his snaps are so limited.

All of that too is without a good secondary. Plenty of those pressures can be sacks if the corners don't get beat too easily. Bruce Irvin as good as he is, still benefits from a monster secondary.

If they get lucky and find a shutdown corner this draft, the future will look bright for the defense as a whole. Not too many defenses have both star pass rushers, as the Chargers do (Reyes and Ingram have that potential), as well as a great cover corner. It's usually one or the other.

I wouldn't ever trust PFF statistics, but they certainly do generate lots of and lots of pressure in limited snaps.
