This is good news for SDSU fans. The Big Least is in turmoil, and the Aztecs already have deep roots in the Mountain West.

I also enjoy college football rivalries. And it's good to have the CSU triad back together again: San Diego State, Fresno State and San Jose State.

At first I agreed with it but when Boise backed out it was smart to follow.

To me, the worst thing about the move to the Big East was that it was for football only, forcing the basketball program to leave the MWC, which has quietly developed into a pretty solid conference in basketball.
I'm glad they're staying put. |

San Diego State is making bad decisions if they're only in it for the football money.
They are very obviously a basketball school. The Big East WAS a good basketball conference and it WAS a good move. I'm glad they came to their senses and stayed in a conference that gives them decent leverage on both sports. Boise is still a big dog worth taking down. And the Mountain has strong basketball play with UNLV and UNM still around.
