The referees pissed me off more. You would think after making a ticky tack call against SDSU to bring back their pick 6 they could have at least ruled against that fumble in the end zone.

Very interested to investigate their religious backgrounds... ;P

Have I made it clear on this board the degree to which I dislike referees?

Combined stat line against Texas, TCU, and Notre Dame: 14 tackles, 0 tackles for loss, 0 sacks, 1 QB hurry.
@ 235lb Van Noy can gain 10-15 lbs with relative ease. He's a terrific athlete and very long also. He would make a great choice for the Chargers.

He'd be smarter to go back to school. Reminds me of Aaron Maybin right now.

Agreed. Another year would do him some good.

Mathews is injury prone and done IMHO. Time to look for a replacement.

I think Steven Jackson would be a nice stop gap for a few years while we develop someone.

You cant judge anyone behind an OL like ours...

Its just dumb to call him done with this pathetic OL and offense in general. He's injury prone yeah, but what confuses me, is that he never has re-occuring injuries. Broke his collarbone, then his other one, his ankle last year, knee in college. That just seems like real bad luck to me, but it keeps happening, so you just cant call it bad luck...

He's definitely not done though, watching him move is the same as it has always been, injuries have not affected that. He's not done by any means, if we give him holes to run through, he's and above average RB, he just needs a good insurance policy.

Well, at least now he'll be able to go forward with two reinforced clavicles.

Are you saying the clavicle excuse is all used up.....

Look at how many games played were possible, how many were actually played, and decide if he is worth it......
