And before the Spikes eye gouching is brought up, it was stupid; but did you see the game? He was high / lowed a couple plays earlier (the same way Merriman was cut down by the Titans 2 years ago). Spikes was hot - (he's didn't need to retaliate that way) - but you had to see that running back try to snap his leg on an illegal chop, (which never made the news) to understand the anger behind his dumb move.

The RB actually was actually pissed that he got suspended. He publicly said that it was an intense game, and he didn't even feel it cuz his eyes were closed and that **** happens at the bottom of the pile in almost every play.

Interesting. Then again Gooden and Lewis are from the U and they don't have the greatest chemistry lol. Spikes was Siler's back up as well. I would take Spikes in the 2nd, but I wouldn't be pissed if AJ got him in the 1st since it would be a late 1st anyway.

good point - in a perfect charger world - it would be the LAST pick of the first round!

I would, he misses far too many tackles IMO. You don't take a guy like that in the 1st. He is good at a lot of things, and would be an upgrade over Coop, but I wouldn't take him until the 2nd.

We all know McClain is the only can't miss prospect at ILB, and he is really the only one I would take in the 1st.

I would take Washington over Spikes in the 2nd. Wouldn't take Washington in the 1st either.

Thats the benefit of having 2 ILB's is that you can get one to be used beside cooper now who is good, but not great. And then if you really want to make a great D, then get a guy like Burfict to take over for Cooper.

My dream scenario is that we get Burfict and Micah Johnson.
Mante Teo is a beast. Watched some of his high school game, great intensity, great attitude, and has a desire to win. He chose ND over USC because of "religious reasons and family persuasions". I know that he wanted to be a trojan. Anyways, I believed Mante will go on his 2 year mission after he graduates and after that he may go into the draft.

Yeah he injured his knee I think it was.

I remember hearing that when I was *barely* watching the game.
