It all depends on who is on the board at 7. That is the starting point for the Chargers---and the Browns.

I think the Titans is the logical team to trade up with, because this way, teams can get ahead of the Jets.

But, we are forgetting people expect the Chargers to get a QB early, maybe even in the First.
So, If Trubs gets past the Jets, TT's phone might ring with a really good offer that is enough to make the Chargers give up on their franchise QB of the Future.

Saying we are looking to get a QB was a smart move from Lynn.

That Said, unless the offer was really great, I would only accept It If Garret, Hooker, Adams, Allen and Thomas are off the Board.

It might not be giving up on just a franchise QB but also another player the chargers may want close to draft pick #7. It really has to be made worthwhile to drop 5-7 spots and miss out on 1st tier talent. Then on the other hand if we drop two spots and pick up another third rounder it could be made very desirable for additional ammo to move up into the bottom of the first from our second.

Per Zierlein, NFL.com

7 could be the spot where Cleveland targets Trubisky...

If the Bolts can move down 5 spots an pick up an early 2nd rounder I think it's worth it.

I don't think there's a guy in the top 7 I'd rather have than a guy at 12 and 33. Like I'd rather have a top 3 WR (Mike Williams, John Ross, Corey Davis) and then a guy like Budha Baker with the extra pick than Malik Hooker. This would allow us to get an OLineman with our second.

Sometimes making it to second base Tony Gwyn style is the way to go. But fret not. I fully expect TT to get er done at #7.
