I'm familiar with the "knee sprain". It can mean anything from a boo-boo to a serious injury, so long as the ligament is not torn all the way through. I've seen them take up to 12 months of recovery, if it is more than one ligament, and several of which are torn nearly completely.

That one looked bad.

I hope you're right -- but they haven't given a recovery time. If you tear three knee ligaments, each almost all the way through, it is diagnosed as a knee sprain.

I hope it's a less serious version, because if we get eliminated, he is one of the players that will keep up my interest.

Just heard it's only a Grade 1 sprain, and only to the LCL. That's a really favorable diagnosis. I'm shocked it wasn't worse, cause that was ugly.

He is very fortunate. But I can honestly see RGIII missing a good 3 to 4 or more weeks. Technically the rest of the season.
