Brian Billick...He is a great game manager, has been one of the few guys who made the transition from coordinator (where he ran a high powered Offense in Minn) and will let his coordinators do their jobs, not to mention he demands accountability.

He hasn't had a franchise type QB since he coached an aged Randall Cunningham.

He would be a great fit
Ask Baltimore fans their opinion of Billick (who I liked a few years ago...been a while now).

It won't be positive.

He did a heck of a lot with a very offensively limited team...it wasn't till Flacco was drafted did they have any semblance of a legit QB.

I remember my buddy, the die hard Cleveland fan laughing when the Pats signed Bilichick...how about the annual call for Coughlin's head?

I could care less what another fan base thinks...PAC, you are a Whisenhunt guy right? Most of the "birdgang" wants to run him (and more importantly Russ Grimm) out of town...It is all a matter of perspective.

I think with the talent on this team and IF we were to get a capable GM, Billick would be a really good fit for us...just my .02

I think the fanbase critique is garbage. I think the Whisenhunt parallels are valid. I think both are good coaches. The ONLY knock on Billick that's valid imo is his time away from the game.

I wouldn't mind having Norv as an OC. There are lot of teams out there that could use his help.

Fair enough Pac...time away could be bad...but it could also be very introspective, this will be a very interesting offseason!

So, you don't want people posting vague desires at HC, because you want names. When I post a name, you say no chance without posting WHY there is no chance.

Pot calling the kettle black. Since he has never said no to San Diego in public or in publish, let me state WHY it could happen:

What he HAS said is that he would only go where there is an established QB: Rivers.

He wants personnel control: Bye AJ.

Raiders just fired their OC, will Norv headed there as their OC?

Or the Jets?
