I don't think he's making fun of anyones "passion for the team". What I read is him saying that you can choose to stay mired down in the past administration, or you can start looking ahead to a new future.

What good does it do now to sit around and roast AJ and Norv? They're both gone, and just like Marty won't be back.

AJ and Norv both got enough stuff wrong to get themselves fired. But they also got alot of stuff right. People seem to want to forget that, and focus on the negative.

To each his own. Next man up, I say.

Let's see what Telesco and his new crew have under the hood.

Well no, of course you can't imagine it. We wouldn't have a chance to be upset over the Chargers in yesterday's loss because the Chargers, unlike the Broncos, weren't in the playoffs. Haven't been for years now. That's the point. The Broncos (and other teams like the 49ers, for example) haven't been preaching continuity with losers over the past few years like the Chargers have. As a result, they played in playoff games yesterday and the Chargers didn't and haven't since 2009.

I'm glad AJ is gone too. I really like Telesco's attitude. He doesn't seem to me like a guy who would fire a 14-2 coach. I'm excited about the opportunity to finally begin the work of repairing the damage that AJ and Norv did to this team. But it will take me a while to get over the disappointment of how many years were wasted keeping AJ and his bad pick of a head coach. The healing will be a long process.
