Lol is Sanchez only so they don't have to have two monster contracts at QB? Because a GM would have to accept two 1st's and a 2nd to do that and take on that scrub Sanchez at QB. I would do the deal if it involved two 1st's, a 2nd and a 3rd or a 2nd the following year. Only cause Rivers has two years left on his contract anyway so who knows how his play will keep progressing and whether the Chargers will invest more money.

Edit: D'Brickashaw Ferguson or Nick Mangold and those draft picks for Rivers and you have a deal. Only other talent to take from the Jets is Revis. They can keep Sanchez.

Damn those Jets fans are delusional. One guy thinks Sanchez and a 5th is worth Rivers? Get out of here. And they want to dump Revis too because he clearly is begging for another contract? They must think the Chargers are the Raiders to get swindled like that.

Sanchez is garbage. To compare Rivers to him is sad. Rivers has had back to back bad seasons, but his first 4 years were nothing but elite. Rivers is capable of being elite again, Sanchez never was and never will be.

2 firsts and a second is good enough for me. Don't want Sanchez. I'd do that trade. We need more early picks, and Nobody has had more turn NORVERS than PR the last 2 seasons. Fix the OL, get a stud RB, then draft a QB. Maybe find another CB in FA as well.

Actually, Sanchez is the only QB to have more turnovers than Rivers in the last 2 years. But you're right about 2 first and a second being enough. Anyone who says different just can't admit that Rivers is in decline.

its delusional to think the jets are gonna give up two 1st round picks and a second, plus sachez for Rivers; a noodle arm, turnover prone, QB who is on the decline.

that said if the Jets were to want that trade...id do it in a heartbeat! Jets will be picking in the top half of the draft for next two years and maybe even top ten. chargers are gonna be in rebuild mode anyway for the next few years and PR isn't getting any younger..so lets get some value for him now!

I don't think there will be any interest in Sanchez comging here... I don't think we are commiting to a full rebuild yet so Rivers is staying put.
