My lame rhyme
This came to me this morning when I woke up…
‘Twas the night before Sunday and all thru the “Q”, not a Bolt was stirring, not even a Fouts. The flags were hung around the stadium with care, in hopes that Coach Schottenheimer would soon be there! The fans were all nestled all cozy in bed, while visions of an AFC West title danced in their heads! Then out on the field I heard such a clatter, the US Navy SEALS were dropping in sans ladder! One by one they glided into the place, one even trailing a giant stars & stripes! Beautiful dancers with bolts on their skirts, waved golden pom-poms to welcome them (and flirt!). The roar was so loud, the fans were very laudable. I knew the Bucs would never be able to audible! And then they appeared, in a cannon blast with smoke: The Chargers and a fat red-suited bloke! Only the red-shirt wasn’t Rivers you see, it was Santa! Freaking Santa indeed! On Leber, on Osgood, on Kaeding and Gates! On LT and Drew, and even Flutie Flakes! And after the Chargers blitzed, passed and ran, they sent Tampa Bay home to work on their tan. As Santa flew off with his afterburners bright, I heard him exclaim, “On to Cleveland Bolt fans, for the next title fight”!...

I thought it was well written. Kind of catchy too.
