Default Freddie Jones

What do you guys think of Freddie Jones? You think he still has something left in the tank. I just saw on espn that he is a free agent would a Gates Jones Scenario be agood one for the Chargers?.

Not with the depth we have at TE already. Peelle and Krause are younger, quicker, and have a much better upside.

He sucks. He only had one great season with us. Went to the Cards and sucked.

I don't think he'd fit here but I've always liked Freddie. Don't know why...just have. I'm sure he'll get his shot with another team - hopefully he can capitalize on the opportunity.

I agree with Chargers, I was a fan of Jones when we first got him. We he had a chance to get in the open field it took a couple defenders to bring him down. problem was he dropped passes to much in my opinion for a TE.

I always liked Freddie too. But you have to catch the ball in weird contorted positions as a TE and if you have trouble with that you’ll struggle, like I remember him doing. Trust me if he had good hands Denny Green would have him back with the Cards. He has it all but the hands.

Freddie was never as good as he could have been. He had a few good years with us but his Charger's career is 100% behind him. We have moved on and I wish him the best.
