Default Stan Humphries Vid

I posted this in the video thread, but no one replied. Anyways, I was wondering if anyone still had any good humphries vid that they can post. I love that guy's arm.

Besides the vid, what else did you like or dislike about him? I know he got criticized a lot because of his durability.

Stan was the man. It seemed like Stan and Tony Martin connected on a 1000 bombs for touchdowns.

That so reminded me of that 99-yrd bomb in Husky Stadium.

I remember the Colts game in 95 (regular season game not playoff) where he threw what seemed like an 80 yard pass to Tony Martin with ease. It was incredible and he did it twice.

Default Humphries was a great QB

I hope people remember that Stan Humphries is the only Chargers QB to lead San Diego to a Super Bowl. I'm glad you posted this thread, thank's.
*Last I heard he was Coaching at a High School in the South.

Holy Cow yes!

Third down on the one yard line. No problem!

That was my second favorite Humpries pass, the best being the bomb to Pupunu in the AFC Championship game!

OMG! Finally someone has mentioned one of the Chargers best QB's. I know that he didn't post some great numbers or that he was a top notch QB in the league at the time but he was one of the most rugged, gutiest, toughest QB the NFL has ever seen!, I mean, he played that '94 season with a dislocated left elbow!, I have met people who have taken medical leaves from their deskjobs because of a first degree ankle sprain!, do you know how painful a dislocated elbow is?, it's more painful than a shoulder dislocation that's why I hated when people downplayed his performance. I still remember his last pass in the 1997 season on a road game versus the Bengals when he completed an 8 yard pass play and got a concussion by a late hit. Anyhow, glad he's in the Chargers Hall of Fame. I still have the #12 Humphries jersey, some trading cards, an autographed football and 8'x12' pic. Man, he's one of my favorite Chargers players of the past!.

If Stan the Man had today's O-line, he'd be a HOF'er now. The man was the second coming of Dan Fouts, with a stronger arm.
