Default Does the "Aw Shucks" mentality of this team scare you?

It sure as hell scares me. Listening to Norv and Rivers interview after the game, I hear the same garbage interview responses. "We were so close", "they made a few big plays", gag!

I, for one, am tired of the "Aw shucks" attitude of this team, specifically its QB. It is week 9 of the season, not week 1, not week 2.

Watching the Rivers interview especially made me upset. He is the primary reason we lost this game today, and I wanted to wipe the southern hospitality grin right off his face. Being cordial with the media is one thing. Being unrealistic about your efforts is another. I watched LT's interview and felt a bit better, but jeez...

His Gomer Pyle demeanor is disturbing.

My expectations for this season have not been high since February. So any attitude from the players or coaches have no effect on me.

I readied myself for the worse, so if it happens I will be completely prepared for it. I cant say that anything thats happening this year is surprising to me.

Rivers does not like criticism. He gets defensive. He really is not a player that meaningfully takes responsibility, I've noticed this as I have seen him get defensive when questioned in earlier losses.

I have serious concerns about Rivers.

When he came in, everybody said his strength was that he could forget about the previous play.

Well, we have seen him get angered/flustered easily and not recover.

Time to sit down, boy.

I think Norv has destroyed Rivers. He looks like he has no confidence in the pocket. This team looked like it gave up at the end of the Vikings game, and that shouldn't happen this late in the season. We should be hitting our stride and not dealing with the same chicken bleep as from the beginning of the season! Their interviews are really pissing me off too! We are gonna be saying this same nonsense all the way to a losing record or .500 at best. Problem is that our division is sorry, so we may get into the playoffs and see another one and done. Then we will see Norv for another year.

Lets AT Least put blame in realistic places....

Rivers has look like this since week 11 or 12 last year. So Norvie has nothing to do with it.
