Simply put, Fin, untill you (or someone else) can prove those two photos are not only unedited but are also the same zoom/size, its going to be looked at as false more than truth by the majority of objectionable computer/photoshop-savy fans out there.

You seem to be reaching for everything you can to try and wish this to be fact, but the reality is that there isnt anything else left to debate.

For once and for all: Nobody photoshopped ANYTHING!

That picture shown on PFT is Merriman in 2005. Nobody touched that picture. That's what he looked like when he was a rookie.

I was refering to the pictures from the NFL Media guide that someone on this site provided. Clearly, pictures provided from the NFL Media guide would not be doctored, correct?

Other than the photo being from 2005, you have said absolutely nothing that you can back up with proof or fact about the picture A) having never been edited in any way, shape, or form, and b) them being rendered at the same size/zoom.

NOT TRUE. Merriman missed the photo day in 2005. Whatever photo from 2005 is out their it had to be photoshoped.

Forget the 2005 picture. Go back and look at the NFL official pictures 2006 and 2007 posted in this thread. That's what the discussion is now about.
