Now that the Chargers are finally eliminated, I, get to start the game day thread, much thanks to the Pittsburgh Steelers. Ravens travel 185 miles west to play the Steelers for the third time this season in today's AFC Championship Game. Steelers swept the series 13-10 in overtime at Pittsburgh and 13-9 at Baltimore. Steelers lead the Ravens all-time 16-10. Will play the NFC Champion for Super Bowl XLII in Tampa.

Jim Nantz and Phil Simms will announce the game commentary for the NFL On CBS, with KFMB CBS 8 televising in San Diego.

Who would have thought at the beginning of the year that these would be the two teams playing for the AFC championship. Just goes to show that the talking heads of football know squat. I myself would have to pick the Ravens. I hate the Steelers and would love to see a rookie QB make it to the SB.

That Joe Flacco is an interesting guy. I heard his mom and dad drove him to his first nfl game. He drives a 10 year old car. Just different.

They say he's the type a guy, that just sees everything like " It's just another game". So he's not overwhelmed by the enormity of the situation.

I gotta say though....It would suck if there's a Philly/Steeler superbowl.

Can you Imagine an "Iggles" fan, with a Superbowl Trophy and a World Series Championship? Yuk.
