RB Darren Sproles made a stir last summer when he said the Saints workharder than the Chargers. Newly signed WR Robert Meachem (Saints)accidently reinforced this during his introduction to San Diego.“Sproles always said you are going to have fun,” Meachem said ofSproles talking about the Chargers. “You are not going to be on thefield too long, but you are going to get done what you need to getdone.”

I think Norv needs to hold longer practices, make it tough. This could be a reaons for the injuries, guys aren't prepared for real games with short practices.

I'd rather the players inside the film room learning every detail of the upcoming opponent, then spend as much time as they have to to get a visual of it on the field.

Of course instead of interpreting it as practices being enjoyable and efficient, you take the negative route that they're short and easy...

Longer and tougher practices does not equate to a decrease in injuries, in any way

Agreed.

Not to mention all the limits the new CBA has placed on practices. That whole "grind 'em into the dirt, and make real men out of 'em" mentality was written out of the new CBA.

I had the displeasure of hearing Hacksaw for 10 minutes while I was driving today from point A to point B. I wanted to reach through the radio and punch him. In his 5 minute rant about how the Chargers did everything wrong, he had so many factually wrong "facts" in order to push his agenda for the days show. I can't stand when he gets statistical facts wrong or just plain old facts wrong, like J. Johnson has been a journeyman career backup and has never started (he started with the Ravens).
