Ummmmmmmmmmmmmm, no you don't Drew. How about you stick to playing and the league will take care of the rest ? How would that grab ya ?
It's become like steroids -- while I have hope my favorite guys out there aren't doing 'em, it will never really come as a big surprise anymore.

Brees -- your coach had bounties. I know. It sucks.

Listening to Greer on ESPN talking about how his whole defense is full of integrity. What does that say about his character? hahahaha Saying "I'm not here to set the record straight, I'm here as a representative" and all that, his whole interview is a completely pathetic joke of trying to use big words to sound smart. The way he contradicts himself multiple times is great. He's quick to defend their integrity, saying they're professionals, yet he won't acknowledge the issue of bounties that reward risking other pros' careers.

I was watching that as well, and it was almost laughable.

I just hope that Merriman can prove that he was targeted, and he sues to get back the money he would have made. If he had stayed healthy, San Diego probably would have given him Mario Williams-type money on his next contract.

Gentleman a very harsh punishment indeed but it isnt even the worse part yet. Loomis will work until his 8 GAME suspension starts. The league will announce player suspensions after the NFPA has taken a look at it. What will those look like. This could be a dead duck franchise for 1 yr.

Jeff Darlington@JeffDarlingtonJeremy Shockey texted in response to my question about Warren Sapp's implication that he was the one who blew open bountygate: "Bulls***."

Guess Sapp's source was wrong.

Either that or Shockey is in CYA mode. I'd have to guess that a "snitch" in a locker room goes over about as well with the involved individuals as does being a "snitch" in prison.

Personally, I have no idea of which is the truth.

One thing for certain: Vilma's going to get hit hard, although probably not as hard as Assistant Coach Vitt (6 games). I'm guessing 4 for Vilma.

And to think these are the two guys that were doing the "hungry man" commercials together, a few years back.

And we thought this was going to be a boring offseason.
