I suspect this also means he won't be able to conduct business for the Saints during that 8 week period. Critical at the start of the season. That's half the season essentially, and if my math is right, means he can't be involved in October personnel deadlines.

If they do that I'm sure it will violate the suspension (if they get caught).

And how would they get caught ?

They would have to put the guy under 24 hour surveillance.

That particular suspension I think may just be a "formality" . His fine is his real punishment...
