Jones doesn't do much for me, i'd take: Mercilus, Perry, Upshaw, Branch, and Ingram over Jones. He's right there with Curry and Lewis for me, not first round material.

More upside than all of the above, but I get it. Syracuse used him at the 5 technique often and limited his looks as an outside pass rusher in addition to his statistics. I am projecting when I make this pick.

Looks slow off the ball, not much other than his bull rush when it comes to a pass rush. Just looks bleh.

Also, who's the last decent prospect to come out of 'cuse?

Healthy Arthur Jones would have been worth a second. Tanard JAckson was pretty decent.

Why not? Level of competition? The style of players a school produces? What kind of offense/defense they run? What kind of coaching that player has been surrounded by for 3-4 years?
