What do we need to round out our RB's. Do we need the Addi type or Williams type?
I was listening to the guy from North County Times, say, the Chargers are waiting for the market to bottom out to get a good vet at a good price. I think another reason they are waiting, is to see how the RB's on the roster do. What do you guys think?

We don't need older players at RB. There's no "mentor" factor needed as there might be with an aging LB.

Okay, but, that's not what I was asking. The Charger are reported to be in the market for another RB. That's why I asked if you or others think it should be another back like we have in Mathews or a third down back like Sporoles.

That's not going to happen as far as going after one or two, cause they're gone. So that leaves us with what other back would round out the RB's we have.

As in a two down back or do we need a third down back.

The Chargers have no reason to hurry given the slow nature of the Free agent running back market.
Additionally we have as of now Mathews, Hester, Mclain, Brinkley, and our recent draft pick along with UDFA. A better question is, why not wait? |
